Nutrano Produce Group is thrilled to announce the recent appointment of David Jordan as its new Chief Executive Officer.
David brings with him extensive experience in transformational leadership across high growth agribusiness, FMCG and QSR sectors, having successfully steered organisations such as HS Fresh Foods, Costa Group, Baskin-Robins and Coles Liquor Group. He has also served as a board member for the Parramatta Eels and he is currently Chairman of Oysters Australia.
David’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as Nutrano embarks on exciting expansion across multiple growing regions in Australia, transforming its business to stay at the forefront of R&D, innovation, and best practice agribusiness operations.
Driven by a commitment to enhancing the people-first culture at Nutrano, David has dedicated his first month to visiting Nutrano’s farms and packing facilities across the country. Focused on ensuring every team member feels valued and plays a key role in Nutrano’s continued success.
“The heart of Nutrano is its people—their passion, dedication, and drive to deliver the best for our customers,” David said. “Enhancing our people-first culture at Nutrano is critical to our long-term success”.
Joanna White, Chair of Nutrano, said, “The past 12 months has seen the board undertake an extensive national search for key executives to join Nutrano. We have been fortunate to be able to identify industry leaders who not only share our vision but also have decades of industry experience in leading best practice agribusiness operations.”
Davids’s appointment completes the executive leadership team which now consists of Mark Leng (Executive GM of Commercial and Operations), Nicholas King (Executive GM of Farming & Development), Sarah Grafton (Executive GM of People, Culture & Safety) and Vladlen Potapenkov (Chief Financial Officer), providing a solid foundation to propel the business to new heights.
David’s people-first approach aligns seamlessly with Nutrano’s core value of ‘Growing Together’, recognising that collective strengths, collaboration, and shared vision drive long-term success in the fresh produce industry.
